3-5 Club is the name for our after school intervention and revision support for Year 11 students
Targeted intervention takes place from 3.20pm – 4.00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students are invited to specific subject interventions based on their current progress data. This allows subject teachers to better monitor students’ progress. Each half term, subjects will update their invite list in response to recent assessment information, classroom progress and the changing needs of our students. If a student is invited to subject specific interventions, attendance to these sessions will be considered compulsory.

Should students not be invited to intervention, they can access computer rooms MS06/07 to work independently and/or with their peers when revising outside of intervention until 5pm. This will be facilitated and monitored by staff to ensure that students are using the resources available to maximise their learning and progress.
If students fall behind with home learning tasks then they will need to attend support sessions in MS06-07. All home learning tasks are based on revision or exam practice.
Students who do attend 3-5 should complete independent study at home; 3-5 is designed to give students as many tools, strategies and resources as possible to facilitate this.
