Jay finished his service in Feb 2024, as an instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, which trains all British Army Officers. He has a wide-ranging background in training, logistics, financial and budgetary management. He has also extensive experience of training and mentoring U18s and was awarded a bar to the Long Service and Good Conduct medal during his military service.
Jay is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In addition, he has post graduate qualifications in strategic leadership, direction, and management. Through multiple roles in the Army, he has gained extensive knowledge in contract and project management and corporate business development leadership roles.
To gain further commercial experience, Jay was selected as a volunteer business mentor for JP Morgan in 2023. During his time in the Armed Forces, he was also a qualified equality, diversity and cultural advisor. Jay strongly believes that a positive culture, mentorship, teamwork and inclusivity are essential in any organisation.
